Abstract
In recent years, automobile system and instrument panel are becoming increasingly complex as they are equipped with various functions and are being digitized. As a result, more warning icons have been created in the automobile. The dashboard for communication between the automobile and the driver provides the driver with diverse information necessary for driving through the warning icons on the instrument panel, and also offers information on driver status. According to a survey of 2,018 drivers from Britannia Rescue in July 2013, 98% of drivers do not understand warning icons on the automobile instrument panel. Therefore, we investigated the meaning problems of the automobile warning icon on Automobile Instrument Panel.
